The Allard Prize Committee is delighted to announce the winners of its November 2013 Allard Prize Photo Competition for International Integrity.

I am honored and proud to announce that the cover image from my project “Beauty In Hell: Beauty over Drama” was selected as First Prize Winner (2013 November Edition) at the Allard Prize for International Integrity (Vancouver, Canada).

Congratulations to Massimo Barberio of Italy, Tony Corocher of Italy, Sucheta Das of India, Sourav Karmakar of India and Nadge Mazars of France (now living in Columbia) for their successful entries. The entries chosen reflect the ideals of the Allard Prize through compelling images that capture the themes of courage and leadership in combating corruption, and of human rights or anti-corruption generally.”

The Allard Prize also administers a semi-annual Photography Competition that recognizes photographic excellence reflecting the ideals of the Allard Prize. Each winning entry receives a CAD $1,000 cash prize and is featured on the Allard Prize website for six months. For more information please see Photography Competition.

The Allard Prize is awarded biennially to an individual, movement, or organization that has demonstrated exceptional courage and leadership in combating corruption, especially through promoting transparency, accountability, and the Rule of Law.  Nominations are ongoing and open to the public.
